Server Administration
Reliable, hardened, well-documented server infrastructure, on-premises, in the cloud, or both.
What's included
- Windows Server and Linux server deployment and configuration
- OS and application patch management
- CIS-aligned server hardening baselines
- Active Directory design, cleanup, and administration
- Backup design and disaster recovery planning and testing
- Virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware) and cloud VM administration
- Migration planning (on-prem to cloud, version upgrades, consolidations)
How engagements work
Most server administration engagements start with an inventory and health assessment of your current environment: what's running, how it's patched, how it's backed up, and where the risk is concentrated. From there we propose either a project (e.g. a migration or hardening pass) or ongoing managed support at a cadence that fits your environment.
Good fit if you...
- Have servers running without a dedicated systems administrator
- Need a second set of eyes on patching, backups, or hardening
- Are planning a migration, consolidation, or major upgrade
- Want documented runbooks instead of tribal knowledge
Want these systems monitored continuously, with alerts when something goes wrong? See Remote Monitoring. For the laptops, desktops, and user accounts that depend on them, see Workstation, User Administration & Helpdesk.
